This table is special for several reasons. First, I urban logged the tree from my sister’s yard. It lived a long life and was dying of natural causes. Unfortunately is was very close to house so it had to be cut down. I took the logs to a sawyer, stacked the slabs in my barn for a couple of years and tada- it turned into an end table. Second, the design is my own creation. However, you can see the heavy Greene & Greene influence. Oversize finger joints, ebony plugs and every edge rounded over make this a truly beautiful piece.
I plan to make a matching end table, coffee table, sofa table and maybe a media center to take to the Rhode Island Fine Furnishings Show in November. I will add more photos on the gallery tab. If you are interested in purhasing this table or any of the accompanying pieces, please contact me at Beasley7Designs@gmail.com.
