The base is attached to the wood slab with a sliding dovetail and lag bolts making is solid enough to use as a room divider. The clock movement is quartz driven and the face has walnut insets at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The base has almost 3 cubic feet of storage. Plenty for extra blankets, pillows or magazines.
