I finished the Tuxedo clock!! I tried a different movement that I got from Klockit and i am glad I did. I love the look and design of the new movement, the ease of mounting, the slim cylinder pendulum and the customer service at Klockit was a pleasure to work with. Speaking of the movement, here is a picture of it.
More photos can be found on the Live Edge Grandfather Clock tab above or click here. The slab is Ambrosia Maple with a little spalting here and there. The base is made from Tasmanian Blackwood. There is a scroll pattern on the side for added detail. I call it the Tuxedo Clock because the base reminds me of the vest and shirt of a tuxedo.
