I just started a new live edge grandfather clock – with a twist. This one is a theme clock. I chose a Lord of the Rings theme because the slab fits that. There are a few things I have to work out, like how to make a knot hole look like a volcano, but it will be an interesting clock when it’s done. I came up with a really cool design for the base, but I’ve got a few challenges getting parts while everything is closed and I am in quarantine. So far, I have managed to find everything but the wood for the base. I’ll post a picture when there is something to see.
